What we do

A good planting plan works with the garden you have and the future you want.

We assess sun, shade, wind, soil, drainage and the existing plant community before recommending what stays, what moves and what needs replacing. Valuable established plants are retained wherever possible because maturity gives a renewed garden depth from day one.

New planting is layered for form, texture, seasonal interest and long-term resilience. Native and water-wise choices can reduce future demand, while soil preparation, compost and mulch give plants a stronger start and help the garden cope through Auckland summers.

Finding the garden hidden underneath the growth.

An overgrown garden does not always need to be cleared and started again. Often the strongest character is already there: mature trees, established shrubs, useful shade and a structure that has simply become difficult to see.

Restoration starts selectively. We remove problem growth, reveal valuable plants, improve the soil and rebuild clear edges before introducing new layers. The renewed palette fills gaps and adds continuity without erasing the history of the space.
